Hello !
Im a born again Brewer living in the Cynon Valley near Aberdare.
In the past i restricted myself to Kits, now ive got more time on my hands id like to explorer this fascinating hobby/past time more fully.
Im starting from scratch again so i thought id just buy what i need to start with and borrow and scrounge the rest lol
Ive started a Wilkos starter wine kit, (the £16 Chard kit) just to prove that home made wine is very drinkable, not that i need persuading but my wife has to be brought round to the idea if im allowed to spend more money on yet another hobby lol.

Im sure to have load of stupid and idiotic questions on my Home brewing journey, so please be patient ;0)

all the best
Phil

About 6 months ago my wife said I was drinking too much and I needed a hobby. So I bought a homebrew kit and not looked back :D

I've done quite a few kits but I'm now more confident in my abilities to branch out a little more and have started doing fruit juice wines. This and garlic bread is the future.

Cheers
Furks.

Thanks everyone for your hearty welcome, :thumb:

Ive been a casual drinker for years now (once or twice a month) but i thought id start regular drinking again so id have something to give up for my a new years resolution :drink:

Hi Brother,
I remember in the early 90s going to a Brewing shop in Park Crescent, Barry , is it still there ??
When i went, the owner got me drunk on some samples, i had to let the 1st Mrs Jones drive me home i was legless lol
Great choice of kits and sundries must have spent 50 to 60 quid largely due to my drunken state lol

Ahh yeah i remember something about opening times. it was only open a few hours 2-3 times a week and never on weekends.
I know for another Brew shop in Trealaw (Rhondda) do you know for any others in Wales Colin ???
