I was in a Booths supermarket, which stocks a big range of bottled beers. I looked for a bottle of Oakhams Citra to compare to my own 2 recent citra based brews. I opened it and found it to be more bitter than my own but didn't think that the citra notes were as emphatic as my last version.
I looked at the ABV and didn't realise it was 6%!
That's 'cos it wasn't Citra but Green Devil:mrgreen:. The logos on the bottle look the same. What I'm now wondering is what hops are used. Is Green Devil a hop or does the beer use a combination of other hops, which might well include Citra???
It's a nice brew. Strongly hopped with a mouthfilling texture and citrus notes. The bottle doesn't answer my question. Does anyone know?
