I can't substantiate any of the following so they are all open to comment.

One

• The Civil Servant responsible for increasing the State Pension age to 67 is retiring at 61 years of age and with a £1.8 million pension pot. He will receive £85,000 a year and a Lump Sum of £245,000.
• He’s the secretary for the Department for Works and Pensions. His name is Sir Robert Devereux. I do hope that you all share this. It shows what the establishment thins of ordinary people. i,e, You can work until you drop.

Two

• There are currently about 3,250 people examining Benefit Fraud, while there are only 300 HMRC people examining fraud by those that are wealthy tax dodgers, many of whom give a lot of money to the Tory Party!

• To find your Tory Name:

1. Take the first name of a grandparent as your Tory first name.
2. Then take the name of the street you grew up in and hyphenate it with the surname of your first headmaster.

• The end result won't be as posh as Jacob Reees-Mogg but it will come pretty close.

My own is Thomas Devonshire-Shepherd and SWMBO comes up with a majestic Jemima Moffat-Park-Bailey!

• Just to put this government into perspective, the Benefits Helpline is 55p per minute but the Benefits Fraud Line is free!

I have just been reading about the charity sector, a big employer of the virtue signalling left.
Brendon Cox to start with, allegations of being a sex pest, including police report and quitting his job as senior exec with Save The Children under a cloud of allegations.
OXFAM staff indulging in poverty stricken prostitutes, some said to be underage, whilst self righteous governors trying to cover it up.
Don't the left have some history with covering up sex abuse when it suits their agenda?
120 staff from Britain's leading charities accused of sexual abuse in the last year alone.
It always strikes me how those most outwardly displaying of virtue, tend to be morally lower than the average once you dig a bit deeper.

Still up of course. When you get older you will find that sleep is often an unnecessary luxury!

With regard to the virtue or otherwise of people, I had a real eye-opener in India. I was the company's HSE Manager at the time so to be approached by an Indian Houseboy (actually a grown man with a very derogatory title) with a complaint against a fellow European was a huge compliment.

One of the UK based contractors was staying at the company house when the Houseboy told me "I am sorry to bother you but could you please arrange for Mr. 'X' to be removed from my house?" The man concerned (a UK based IT Specialist) had only arrived from the UK in the early hours of the day before so he had spent only about 36 hours in the country.

Obviously, the question "Why?" was my first thought but the Houseboy carried on with "He came into the house, dropped off his suitcase and then asked me where he could find a prostitute. When I told him that I didn't know he went outside and asked the compound guard, who directed him to a local brothel. I'm sorry, but I don't want to wash, clean and cook for someone like this."

I moved Ms 'X' to a hotel and he wasn't re-hired after he finished his first two-week contract.

High and low moral values are not restricted to any group of people, be they rich or poor. No matter how shocked we are when someone shows a massive lack of morality, we should refrain from assuming that people who are in similar occupations and circumstances have the same low moral values.

As Dennis Skinner pointed out "Half of the Tories opposite are not crooks!"

I'm afraid I'll have to find some other way to find my Tory name. Can't remember the first names of either of my grandfathers possibly because both were long since dead before I was born, and as to the name of your headmaster - who on earth would remember that? Don't think I'd have known even when I was in school but there again I spent the entire time staring out of the window...

And of course anyone found guilty of those things should be punished. Does working for a charity make you a lefty though? OXFAM was set up by a Quaker, a Canon, a prominent Liberal, and a Christian entrepreneur - hardly typical Trots!

It strikes me as they are all cut from the same cloth. The reason why we never get what we want or what they say. Liars , opportunists, thieves and cheats acting on the public stage. Bring back the stocks Dutto. Make them accountable.

I tend to remember the name of anyone who causes me physical pain; even if it's with the metal edge of an 18" architect's ruler or a nice swishy cane! My own Headmasters were named Shepherd, Glister, Ferguson and Bailey; and they all contributed to my education!
