Hi To All

I brew from tins ( not gone to the darkside yet  ).
I normally leave it in the bucket for 7 days then transfer to a barrell for around a week out in the shed, then i transfer to my cornie and force carbonate.
I have tried to miss out the middle man this time ( skipping the barrell part ) and transfered straight form bucket to cornie after the 7 days. The strange thing is my beer is still cloudy, Tried to draw off a pint or two to pull through any sediment. Now i know its only been in my cornie around 2 weeks ( but normally it clears in around a week in my barrell ).Am i missing something or is John Bull Lager one that takes more time then say coopers i normally use??

Thanks

Arthur I did the John bull bitter a couple of months back and it wasn't very good TBH, very thin but drop clear.

I think you may of wanted to leave the brew for several says longer in the FV before transferring to the corny.
The dip tube is going to pull all the sediment up first unless you've shortened it.

Could you please post how this lager turns out as I have a friend who wants me to bottle a few brews for him and it would be easier to do a couple of kits rather than going AG for him

Cheers Sean

No problem Sean_mc, I will post back here on the quality of the lager. From previous tins i can say the coopers was a good brew as was the brew buddy lager iI got in my first ever kit. :thumb:

Well its been three weeks in the cornie now and its still cloudy??????

Guessing to stay away from John Bull Lager and stick with my coopers

Anyone else have an issue with John Bull Kits???

Oh FFS, Mother in-law has bought the kit for my birthday. Apparently she took a note of me buying the John bull kit when I took her shopping months back.....bless her
Wouldn't mind but father in-law was only raving the other day about a wherry

Think I'll have to add it to the end of a AG brew or something

Sean

OK Still cloudy........Had a pint of it tonight though and it tastes quite good :thumb:

Just hoping to get at least one clear pint before i reach the bottom of the cornie
