I could do both, an imperial stout plus another style. As said above maybe an English styleNext brew was the slow burner.
Impy stout, brew now and swap at end of October.

Sounds good to me. I have an imperial stout in the fermenter at the moment and will have brewed many kegs of bitter by June.Ok, we can swap English Bitters at end of June. But the entry requirement is you have to brew an Imperial Stout for the October swap first.

Same here. I would like to do a bitter, but an imperial stout doesn't do it for me.I'd like to brew a bitter but I don't know if I can be arsed to brew an Imperial, I may change my mind though...
