Superb work! - I was very tempted to make a home jet engine once - a local friend did make one and it works very well - I saw it running recently because he was planning to sell it on eBay before he moved house.

Keep us posted :thumb:

Like it.

Will it be used for heating the boiler ?

More info
I'll take some photo's tom and put them up with a description :thumb: Hopefully have it running as well!!!
Now I have tweaked the fuel air mixing and spark placement, it runs a treat lets see if it can sustain the flame long enough to run the turbo! Which is only little, no thrust to move anything just made for fun. Although a turbo moving at 160,000 rpm isn't to be messed with! Oh just to make that figure seem more scarey it's 2666 Revs per second. I hope garett built strong turbo impellers!!

When cranked up to that speed they make a bloody lot of noise and are quite frightening to stand close too

The Garrett turbo I have of a merc sprinter, must be one of the most ineffeincent turbos there is! There isn't the power in the exhaust of the chamber to spin the turbo, thats why I can't get the Damn thing running!
Now on the look out for a large static engine turbo or something off a cat D6 or even Better a D9!!!
