Hi fellow wine brewers,

I've recently started a Californian Connoisseur (Pinot Chardonnay) and i'll be at the fining stage pretty soon. However, the fining agent i have (isinglass ichtyocolle) is cloudy wihin the sachet. I'm sure this was clear when I bought it. Am i losing the plot or should this agent be cloudy? It was in the shed for a few days recently and it's been pretty chilly. Could the coldness have altered its colour or ruined it by any chance? If so, any recommendations for another fining agent for this type of wine?

Thanks in advance for any assistance or advice.

i use ininglass regularly, its meant to be cloudy, empty the sachet and give it a good whisk and see if you can bring it back, and when isinglass is in liquid form its meant to be kept in the fridge so the cold wouldn't of done it any harm
