I have to smile.
Folks talking about the next UK General Election and a new leader for the Conservatives.
We are only just over half a year of a potential five year term for this Parliament.
Whether you like it or not, the Conservatives have a whopping 80 odd seat majority in the Commons, and even if they lose a few by-elections along the way will be in no rush to call another election.
And whether Keir Starmer as Leader of the Opposition is a breath of fresh air to some compared to the last incumbent, and the great hope of the left to regain power, it really matters not for a while, its early days yet since a lot can happen in politics and in life in general. For example who would have thought, some 12 months ago, that a virus would nearly bring the world to its knees in a little over three months in the early part of 2020, and continue to have a major impact on all our affairs for the foreseeable future.
