I bought a few all grain recipe kits and they all came in a big box which has sat in my garage for about a week or so. I've just got round to opening it up and seeing what's inside and there are some liquid yeast sachet's which some of the recipe's use - the White Labs ones. It states on the packet to store at 4 degrees C. AIthough its not been toasty warm in my garage by any stretch, it wont have maintained a temperature as low as 4 degrees C. Does this mean my yeas is knackered? Don't want to suck it and see just in case I waste the batch.

Thanks.

Your yeasts will be fine. Liberate them and store in the fridge until you're ready to use them. I've had liquid yeasts delivered that have been stuck somewhere along the postal route for days on end in the middle of summer. They were just fine. That's not to say you shouldn't look after them, but they're more resilient than you might think.
If you're not sure then make a starter. I always make a starter from liquid yeasts in any case.
