Is my kombucha OK

Hi I just started to grow kombucha again. My first starter batch went well and I started up my first drinking batch last night. This morning I woke up to a Huge scoby cloud (around 3-4” thick) growing in the top of the glass but it looks like it is under the water level rather than growing on top. I haven’t ever experienced it growing so thick so quickly and all at once overnight and underneath. I’m just looking to see if anyone has experience with this sort of thing or can give me any insight?
