This is my first brew after 4 days it is sitting at 1014, it has been stable at 20c in the fv. On checking it for the first time today it has small brown yeast coloured patches on the surface and a scum line around the fv 1 inch above the liquid surface, is this an infection or is this natural. As yet I havent tasted it however it smells ok. Any advice would be appreciated Thanks. Dorset brewer
