Right,

I am pretty new to all this but I'm already developing some odd habits. I've taken to a bit of bottle bank spotting and then a subsequent raid as well. :?

There was genuine excitement when I spotted a new one running home today. :shock:

Is this common or am I just odd?

Alternatively, store them in a cardboard box well away from any sunlight.

All brown so far. I'm still being fussy, I'm sure that will change as bottling time gets closer :)

I have a vast bottle collect but keep my eye out for elder trees, brambles, dog free nettle, that sort of thing.

I carry a bag for life with me at all times just incase I'm walking past a bottle bank with loads of swingtops or decent thick brown glass.

You get some looks, I'm gonna start carrying a cap and vest "don't be alarmed, I'm not mental, I'm a homebrewer"

And I thought it was the same thing.
Perhaps someone can come up with a design and get some made, I'd buy one.
