Hi everyone, I have a inkbird itc-100vh and I wanted to know if I could manually control the output current so I don't have such a heavy rolling boil?

On my last(or first brew day with new equipment) the voltage regulator I installed crapped out on me as I was bringing the wort to boil.. This made life very difficult, I ended up unplugging the control box and went straight into the mains which meant I was having to constantly having to regulate the power manually by switching the urn on and off, it was a massive pain in the backside.

I have been testing and reading through the manual of my PID controller and it it almost seems as if I should be able to but I can't get it to work, however I could be completely wrong.

I would rather avoid putting another regulator in as I don't want to experience the same issue again but if I have to I will.

I looked at the manual, but it's not very helpful. May I suggest you email their support at [email protected]? Until someone familiar with it replies.

Can you try manual mode? Press << for less than one second.
