The pull to the land of the shiney pot was too great, so last week I ordered a 50l thermos and two 70l stockpots.

The thermos arrived but the stockpots had gone AWOL  DHL's online tracking said there was a problem with the address and were at Heathrow. I called them up last night only for some guy at Heathrow to say that they wern't there, but they may be at Chessington :wha:

I think I've tracked them down. I dont quite know where they are, but apparently the two stockpots only had the street name and postcode on the address.

Hopefully the'll be here tomorrow. If the q-max cutters and elements turn up today, I know what I'll be doing at the weekend :)

hi simon
where did you buy your shinys stuff from?
The pull is starting to get me......

Tim,

They came from the 'catering-services-fr' on www.ebay.fr (sorry I dont have a direct link from here), but if you plug in item number 190489942854 you should find them.

The 50l thermos was £82.71 delivered, and a pair of 50l stockpots were £97.93.

Tim,

I'm probably going to get intouch with Muddydisco and see if I can get one of his excellent false bottoms. For the hop strainer I'm thinking of getting some fine stainless woven mesh and making a filter bag with it.

Cheers
Simon
