When I lived in Staines, I went into Waitrose on the 24th and was forced to retreat by the horde of middle-class pensioners quite literally fighting each other over cut-price turkeys.

I have never seen anything like it before or since.
 
Just been to Asda this morning at 8am the shelves were clear of bread :eek: :eek: :eek:

For goodness sake they are only closed for ONE DAY. :lol:
 
yes but a lot of sandwiches are consumed on Christmas day. Its something I look forward to.. :roll:
 
Rotherham Asda opened its doors at MIDNIGHT and apparently folks were queuing around the car park to get in..... :roll: :party: :party: I was tucked up nice and warm in bed
