Looking good TS, how does the longer mash time effect the brew?

:drink:
It doesn't make much of a difference to be honest RTB, maybe a slight increase in efficiency and a slightly more fermentable wort :thumb:
All done and dusted now 42 litres at an OG of 1.038 :D

Hi there

I know it's an old thread but how close did this end up to Tetleys? I've been looking for a recipe for ages and now that I've sorted my off flavour out I'm eager to resume my search :)

Cheers Tom

It was iirc quite close to the old Tetleys from the 80's in fact once we've moved house I'll be brewing it again :thumb:

Finally got around to brewing it......

Just had my 1st pint after 2 weeks in bottle, got the bulk in mini kegs though. Very nice indeed :D This will be added to my regulars list.

Thanks again for the recipe Tubby...........

Cheers Tom
