Okay, pinched this idea off another forum, but nevermind :p
Let's get a total going and see how many gallons of home brew we made as a forum in 2011. Your beer doesn't have to be finished by NYE 23:59 2011, just your brewday completed. I'm not including failed batches in mine, it's been a slow year in that sense...perhaps this will be a good time to think about the highs and lows of your year, too :)

Add your gallons to the total count on the post before yours!

15 gallons honey beer, various recipes.
5 gallons old hooky dark ale
2.5 gallons raspberry mild
2.5 gallons ginger nut christmas beer
1 gallon apple wine from real apples
1 gallon ginger beer
1 gallon blackberry wine
1 gallon fruit cocktail wine

= 29 Gallons

This is my first year so i have
2 gal ginger beer
58 gal cider.

but i think santa has got me a barolo and a czech lager kit. hope to have a go at all grain next year

Uh..not that much, but this is my first year!

8x 5 Gal batches of beer - 4 kits, 4 AG
4x 1 Gal batches of TC
2x 1 Gal batches of WoW
10x 1 Gal batches of various wine kits
10x 1 Gal batches of various juice wines
1x 5 Gal batch of red wine from (some variety of Pinot we think) grapes

Ah, I think we are meant to be keeping a running total.

RobWalker = 29 Gallons
Scott78 = 60 Gallons
Runwell_Steve = 230 Gallons
Eric_S = 71 Gallons

Total so far = 390 Gallons

Beer: 44 gallons
Wine: 75 gallons

Running Total = 852 + 119 = 971 gallons

Only been back a couple of months so :

5 gallons Coopers based *lager*
8 gallons various cider
4 gallons Golden Brown dark lager
3 gallons Folsters 1080 dark lager
4 gallons Coopers Lager kit

total = 24 gallons

So, 1025 gallons plus my...

8 gallons of ginger beer
4 gallons of cider
20 gallons of AG
8 gallons of kits

40 + 1025 = 1065 gallons running total

(now, if this was all beer at lets say 4%ABV, then Mr HMRC would want £3600 in duty for all this :eek: )
