How long does youngs super wine yeast compound last?

It states on the packet it only lasts 3 month after opening? Has anyone used this after? Does it still work?

I have used it several years old!
I never noticed the use by instructions.... But I do keep it in a cool place.
I always hydrate it before pitching with a bit of sugar water so maybe that helps.
I tend to ignore most of those date things, I just regard them as a Tax on those who can't tell when a product has gone off.

I didn't know it had a use-by date. I just checked my tub and it went out in 2011, but it still works fine :thumb:
