Hops packing

Just testing my second vaccum packaging product with my hops and air is getting in the bag again. Do hops give off any gas? It sealed fine from what I can see. Confused.

not one hundred percent but I don't think they do. They always get sold vacuum packed. Are they dried out properly?

They are dry... I can't accept both products don't work and you can't really do it wrong... Confused

Had a look online and there is no info on it. sorry to say it may be the vacuum packing machine again mate. Do you put them straight in the freezer once packaged it would help with the contraction of the packaging

Yup... The product has 2000 positive reviews on amazon.... Head in hand time. Just done another test. Will see how it goes

Maybe try something other than hops - dried white rice perhaps?

Just gave it another go... Noticed it said leave a three inch gap between product and seal and it seems to have worked this time. Will give it a couple of days to see if it holds :)
