Anyone know what these hops may be?
using them wet in my
Nobby'sNuts Black and wet hopped sunday recipe dry wet hopping 100 gram of them within an hour of picking them
they smell slightly grassy cheesy very aromatic

It's pretty much impossible to tell from a picture of just the cone, I have tried! They look similar to what I had found growing wild in chorley. Mine smelled citrusy and grassy, which from pictures and the aroma finder on hop union I thought must be fuggles (or something similar), although I don't recall anyone describing fuggles as cheesy. I would suggest just narrow it down to the old native varieties if you have found it growing in a random place, just for starters. Try the aroma wheel here (although take int account it is American, so tons of varieties)

I found the citrusy aroma grew with drying, and the grassy aroma died back, I only used my server room at work as a drying room.

After comparing to some pictures, i THINK this may be a Saaz hop.. Its mostly guessing tho
 
The cheese aroma is an interesting one, I read somewhere that oxidised goldings can have a cheese aroma.
 
if they are wild, they're not unlikely to be one of the English varieties, notably goldings or fuggles. that's what we grow here after all!

just don't use them to bitter if possible, use a normal bittering addition and then use your wet hops anywhere in the last 15 mins of the boil :)
 
Saaz is described as having "Very mild spice and earth tones" I am struggling with cheese aroma (not personally!!)

Looks wise, could be mt hood, fuggles, whit bread Golding, progress, first gold, bramling cross. Try here for matching by sight
