Hi all,

I planned to bottle tonight. But just peeked into FV and there was a lot of dry hop pellets turned to mush on the top.

I've read @terrym saying to give the liquid/air interface a tap. Did this and could see through the plastic lots of stuff dropping quite quickly.

Question is, how long should a drop like this take? I.e. can I still bottle in a few hours, or best to wait until tomorrow now? I might know the answer, but am impatient and had planned for tonight!

At the end of the day it's your beer in there and you should take command and go with your gut feeling, have you cold crashed it? If not then you will need to (if you have the tech) nothing will drop out at room temps.

My experience is that if you get a lot of hop particles in the bottle, it'll fob and you'll never get a clear pint. I would use whole hops or confine the pellets in a fine-mesh bag.
