Hi all, relative newbie (done about 5 premium kits, all turned out very drinkable and finally managed to reduce the amount of sediment I'm getting in the bottles during the last 2!! ). Have found lots of good advice on this forum so thought I may as well get more involved.

As with most of us the ultimate aim is to move to "the dark side" eventually, although this is likely to depend on what permission is granted by SWMBO!

Cheers and beers!

When I say I've "reduced the amount of sediment" I really just mean that I've got better at bottling!! I've found that transferring to a secondary helps as well as there's obviously less chance of bottling the bits at the bottom if there are less bits at the bottom to bottle! :wha:

Welcome to the forum Nelly. I'm sure you will cross over to the darkside soon. With regards to permission from SWMBO you could try the more clandestine approach and become a secret brewer many of us are   .

Cheers

AG

The other way to get approval is to make sure you brew something she likes!

Try a 7 day wine kit!

Fortunately, my missus likes to get involved with choice of brews (beers & wines) & enjoys giving the stuff away to friends to try!

Trouble is, she'll give away the last bl00dy bottle if I'm not careful! so I keep them in the garage where I have the only keys! ;)
