Hi people,
Just a short note to introduce myself. Obviously from South Africa, I have been brewing for a while now. I started of with Kits (Coopers, of course!) then moved on to partial mash, extract & now all grain. I'm not sure why I waited so long to move to all grain, but there you go! Bought a GrainFather & am going great guns with that! I do mainly stouts although I have done Abby's, Reds,IPAs but only one lager. Not really a Lager fan anymore!
Have a great one!

Had enough of Castle then?!! Welcome aboard!

Hi Masher, I haven't had a Castle since Nanny caught it in the mangle! That's about 25 years ago! If I run out of my brew - normally happens around middle summer 'cos of the heat - I might go on to Windhoek Draught. Mind you SAB now make a Chocolate Milk Stout which is quite quaffable. I take it you have been here or mebbe even live here?

Funnily enough I haven't had one for about 23 years either, or Elephant! Can't say as I miss either of them.....
Spent 8 months working in your neck of the woods. Beautiful country. Keep meaning to come back. One day....

Im from SA too... Pretoria to be exact. Started doing kits, then partial, and in two week we will be doing our first all-grain... Can't even remember when last I had a Castle. Now and the I get offered a Castle lite though... If I run out of Homebrew its Miller time! And if its just after pay-day I can afford a few Paulaner's...

Better rush on the visit then before old Zuma pulls the plug & we sink....
