Hi everyone

Just started my first brew on the 1st and already having problems got home 2day and no bubbling but it was before I left this morning when it was 22 degrees and when I got home it was 20 degrees and no bubble not a good start.

Welcome to the forum :thumb:

Don't panic - it sounds like you are using an airlock if you are talking about bubbling. Have you had a look at the surface of the liquid? - What does it look like - can you show us a pic?

If you are using an airlock, you probably just have a leak somewhere so the gas is escaping rather than going through the bubbler...

Need more info

Hi, yes I'm using a airlock on a fermatation bucket, I am attempting to brew berwferm pils out of the can. I will admit to putting the yeast in when read at 24oc but it soon cooled to 22. Sorry but how do I add pics on here using my iPhone. Cheers

You need to upload to a web based server such as Photobucket and link over. But I think you have to post 5 times before you can do that. Some brews take a few days to get going so don't worry it will be fine.

Welcome to the forum

That's a bit high but the yeast should be be ok.

There is a how to on uploading photos here. it should work on the iPhone but may be a bit tricky.

Hi, I thought it was going when it started bubbling. Il try and upload pics. I have looked at the top and there is not a lot of form on top don't now what this means? Cheers

Hi Donkeykong,

I started my first brew on the same day. I never noticed any bubbles but I'm using a bucket. Felt pressure on the lid, pushed it down and it stayed there until I checked some hours later.

Today it has started giving off a smell, so hopefully it's doing it's stuff now, but I've only got it under the stairs at 13C

Good to speak to you anyway and we can follow each other's progress.

Hi, will do and thanks
