I had a GoPro way way back.
Long gone now but thinking of buying another one.

This is what I bought. Got a 2tb memory card for £8. I bought it to use whilst snorkeling on holiday and something for the kids to use around the pool etc. Comes with loads of attachments such as handlebar and helmet so great for Mt cycling. Plus 2 batteries and fully water proof. Footage is pretty good at 4k

I thank my lucky stars that neither of mine fancied University. One is doing a distance learning part-time degree, but he's paying for it himself as he can afford it.

It always intrigues me how we find our way to particular hobbies. I got into brewing because a friend who has a well established local brewery asked me to help him automate it. Building automation was my day job for 35 years. I found his processes fascinating and one of his brewers was also a dedicated homebrewer and so I found my way into it.

To stay on topic though my other major hobby is collecting guitars. My late Dad bought my first one in 1978 whilst I was learning to play. I kept buying them over the years and bought my most recent one last week making 42 in total. Time to catch my self on I think...
