Hi im Paul,

I only started home brewing yesterday, drove past a new shop went in to see if they had any ales and came out with a brewing kit to see if i will enjoy it or not.

Good luck with your first brew, make sure everything is sterile and patience will be needed. Check out the "how to's", there is some very good information there.

Brupaks pride of yorkshire, will have a look which one when i get home. I know its a dark ale because thats all i like, the bloke wanted me to have a lager one but i didnt see the point with not drinking it any more.

Thanks for the welcome everyone, the ale i am starting with is scammonden dark, has anyone brewed it?
