Hi
I doubt anyone is interested in this, but i'd just like to say that I've gone from someone who didn't know the first thing about home brewing, to someone who can apparently brew kits to a reasonable standard in five months, and I'm quite proud of myself.

I'm very rarely proud of myself, so this is quite a good thing for me.
It's been quite expensive getting everything together, but i know it will be much cheaper in the long run, and i'll break even probably by the end of the year. I'm quite skint, and only started doing this to get a few cheap pints of beer. I never thought i'd have so much fun doing it, and become so engrossed into the process and how it all works. This hobby has come from nowhere, and has come to define my year so far.
I started off borrowing some of my dad's stuff, and now i have 3 fermentation buckets, 2 barrels, tons of bottles, a brewing fridge, about 100 pints either at my house or my girlfriends house conditioning/ready to drink, and am currently fermenting my 13th and 14th kits. Despite the fact I only brew kits, with all this equipment i almost feel like a proper brewer.
I've got 99% of my knowledge from help on this forum, and I am massively grateful to all the people who have taken time out of their life to help me. I'm probably at the back of a very long line, but i'd like to join the queue of people waiting for Aleman to produce his "Definitive Guide to Home Brewing"
My life is ridiculously hectic at the moment, and as i mentioned i'm skint, but one day in the not to distant future, when time and money allows, I will purchase the necessary equipment and join the AG brewers on the forum, and I hope you are all still around to continue giving me the help and support that I've received since i joined the forum.
Hopefully I'll learn enough to give some back one day. Many thanks to you all :
PS this is not a Moley style 'I'm on my 3rd bottle of WOW and I'll say what the hell i like' post!
