help with a hop schedule...

Greetings.

Am following this recipie and im confused.
Would the aroma hops be added at 20 mins left on the boil OR would they be added at boil end for a 20mins hopstand?
Im struggling on what to decide. Whats the concensus?

Alright! I'd say this means drop the temp down to 80c or so and chuck the hops in for 20 mins, then cool as normal. Your not getting so much of the bitterness from the hops then, just the 'aroma'.
 
Hi Mitch just be aware that you will get extra IBU's from dry hopping contrary to old calculations which used to say you did not get any and it has not been taken into consideration in that recipe.
It only matters if you are quite sensitive to higher IBU beers so do not panic but just need to make you aware incase you did not know

I am ready to keg this now. left it about a week over. I just took a glass off the bottom tap and its rather hazy.
You think thats normal for this recipie? it tastes ok and has reached 5.7 abv which is spot on. it just seems like theres a lot of debris in the suspension. I did lift the fv down the stairs though maybe thats disturbed it. I will post a photo......

I’d let it settle a bit. Also at 5.7 abc a few more days in FV will help the yeast finish properly before kegging
