Hi everyone.
I started a Solomon Grundy Cab Sav on Thursday (28/03). My initial plan was for it to ferment in the shed as I have an immersion heater in the fermenting bucket. I realise that with the current tropical(!) climate this was a big mistake as nothing happened and when the temp reading was 10c I decided to move it inside (where my 40 pints of lager are bubbling away quite nicely).

Temp reading now 24c and has been since Saturday (30/03). However nothing is happening. Is there anything I can do to save this as from my research I have found that the low temp will cause yeast to go dormant and not kill it or have I stuffed it up.

Any help will be gratefully received as this is my first attempt at homebrew wine

Cheers

Just give the brew a little agitation to wake up the yeast and keep it warm it will more than likely restart

Thanks for the advice I was kinda hoping somebody would say that as this was my thoughts but being new to this didn't want to jump in without checking.
