Is there a link (Searching came up blank) to a calculator spreadsheet which will allow me to work out my starting gravity based on sugar content? I'm trying to keep an accurate log of my brews but realised I'm missing this important information due to being a tool and not measuring it!

Many thanks

Absolutely cracking little calc there fella, hope you dont mind me chaffing it and using it for all my WoWs and TCs from now on...

Them WoW's dont take long to get going do they! 1 hour post pitch they are bubbling away like a good un! This could be fun!

I got this from a book from 1975 (ish). It's the best book I've read on the subject of home brew, because it's explained in a way even I can understand. It's Home wine making and brewing by B.C.A.Turner. It was £0.01p on Amazon (other sites are available).

Not sure if it's any good, but thought it might be useful. It has some of my ramblings as well (apologies in advance), as well as some things I've read on this forum. Kudos to whoever you may be.

I use the formula 237.2g of sugar per litre of brew which gives about 12-5% alcohol, its a good one to use if you have different sized fermenting vessels, cheers Dave
