tried to take out brew bucket and it's split and sunk
What shall I do

I hope contents of bag will sink ??

I was hoping to bottle tonight .........
 
If you have a spare put it over the [FV] end of a siphon tube and use that to do your bottling. That's how the Festival kits work, they come with a little filter bag so you can just chuck the hops in loose and filter them out at bottling time.

Even if you don't have a bag leave the hops to make sure that they've sunk and bottle anyway, most of the hop residue will stay in the bucket with all the other gunk.

So a few hops fell in the beer? Panic not! Either put another hop bag over the end of the tube when siphoning or siphon to a bottling bucket via a sieve, or just let the debris drop out in the bottles.

I once was draining a fermentor into secondary and to get the last drops of beer off the yeast I propped one side of the fermentor up with an old (and I mean old, dog-eared and passed through many many hands) paperback. I accidentally knocked it into the full secondary bucket, and without thinking stuck my hand (and shirt sleeve) in to feel around and fetch it out.

Turned out to be a cracking beer! You might dispense with hop bags altogether after this one!!!

A brewed beer is remarkably resilient by the point of bottling.

I remember pouring dregs and dregs of dregs into smaller and smaller bottles with minimal sterilisation and it tasted fine, if a little "average".

All an experiment at the time, with "the resilience of a brewed beer".

My conclusion was that the sanitisation is "very important" up to pitching the yeast. Once the beer is done, as in -alcohol produced-, the sanitisation goes down to just "important" in the subsequent processes.
