Hellooo

Ive been brewing for a number of years now, mainly from scratch. great fun and it tastes ok too.
Anyway I'm in the middle of making/building a 11 gallon trail plant controlled from a main control panel. The plan is to have 1 x HLT, 1 x Mash Tun, 1 x Boiler and 2 x Fermentation vessels and a conditioning tank.
So far the panel is not built but I now have all the electrics and component parts to build it. Thats next weeks job. I have managed to acquire 6 Stainless steel tanks, but haven't started to modify them yet.
Looking for ideas for sight-glass, hop strainer, sparging and a filter for the mash tun.

Any help welcome
thanks
Andrew

Nice hops strainer, how did you make that up? Did you machine that up from brass?

I was thinking along the lines of the false bottom Louver like the one that Blichmann Engineering make for the mash tun
I'm wanting to make it the size of the base of the container so that i can easily remove for cleaning etc. It may have to be a mesh style, as i don't have a louver tool to press out that style of louvers just now.

It was easy....
28mm pipie with a copper 2p soldered into the end, brass tank connector, stainless gauze curled to fit and some stainless rings I cut from a length of pipe..
