Hello,

Just wanted to say hello, and introduce myself to the forums. Have been watching for a while, have now taken the plunge at attempting to create my own country wines.

I've started of with a WOW and a raspberry and rhubarb concution!

Looking forward to experimenting and sharing my results with you all..

John

Hello and welcome

No problem with local supply of hops I guess :thumb:

There Are quite a few of us from Kent on here. 1 other from Tonbridge, Bones from Maidstone and 1 from Orpington

I am involved quite heavily in our local football team, who just achieved promotion to the Conference South this year for the 1st time

We have been doing a number of fundraising activities recently and I am trying to sort out a little get together for the August Bank Holiday weekend

As well as some music I quite fancied a mini beer festival, nothing too big as the local rugby club host the South East SIBA festival, its on next weekend

Which I am also involved in

Any of you local brewers dare to bring some beer along on 27th/28th August?

Let me know and I will get organising

Chrisp

Hi Chris and fellow Kent brewers,

I'm in Lordswood and work in Maidstone handy for wilkos and the local HBS.

:drink:

If you're willing to try some top ales in a friendly pub then I'd sort that out ASAP!
I think they have 6 ales on during the week, then put 3 more on each Friday in readiness for the weekend. Offerings from Kent, Dark Star, Goachers and Thornbridge breweries are fairly regular. As a bonus good grub is available too.
All "in my humble opinion", of course!

And now you're going to say you're not a beer drinker!
