Hi All,
This is a bit of a first for me as I am a forum virgin!
I have been getting into my home brewing over the last couple of years and used so much of the foruns info I thought it only fair I registered and share a little back.
This is my second 'season' as it were, My interest lies in foraging and aquireing rather than kits. Last year I made 5 Gal of Cider (traditional method) and 2 gal of Elderberry and raisin wine (which went down very well) and a good 2l of sloe gin (it cures colds don't you know ).
This year i have up-scaled a little, bought a fruit press and scratter. I currently have 5 gal Cider, 1 Gal Blackcurrant, 1.5 Gal Elderberry and blackberry, 2l Bramble scotch, 2l sloe gin and 1l Damson Gin on the go; 2 Gal of Cider in the primary i pressed last night and enough apples and pears for another 2 Gal cider and 3-4 Gal of perry.
Planning to get on with that today.
There you go, thats me and what i'm upto.
Oh, and i am going to do 2 Gal of apple wine and 1 of fruit tea wine (twinings rasp, black and logan berry)
