I often think those that seek power should be denied it. far better for your peers to silently vote for any canditate and the one with the highest score gets it.
It would be better to give it to the one who gets the least votes. Better still, give it to someone who isn't a candidate. This works well for our Head of State.

Nah, that's a ridiculous system.
The best institutions don't elect leaders (families and small businesses). Even large businesses call a select few for interview. European nations with monarchies are those with better standards of living.

Which ones?

And your evidence for that claim?
Families have advanced civilisation rather well since prehistory. Small businesses are the mainstay of economies. Big businesses resort to interviews to hire. The countries in Europe with the better standards of living are monarchies.

That's not evidence - you are just restating what you already said. Please send me a link to some independent, credible research/article that proves your claim, particularly around higher living standards

I think i will stick with the royal family.

In most republics, you need to be a citizen of that nation to run for head of state.
In the speculative event of the UK becoming a republic, it is highly unlikely Joe Biden could (or would wish to run). Indeed, he would in all likelihood be dead.

Instead of saying who you would not like to be an elected head of state, maybe think who would make a good elected head of state.

I reckon Jimmy White would be a great president
