head forming with syringe

Hi there.
I have read several posts on using a syringe to form the head on the poured pint. Forgive my ignorance but what type of syringe is this as I have never dabbled with such items. And where would I get one from. It seems the ideal way for me to get the beer head to my satisfaction as I do not the beer too gassed.

I use a simple 10ml syringe Half fill it with beer and then inhject it back into the rest of the pint.

WARNING Make sure you have enough head space in your glass to do this. One chap I know ended up with a serious dental bill when he lunged forward to prevent it overflowing and chipped his front teeth on the mug
