, I've got too much happening in my life to wait that long! ( as I suspect have so many others :thumb: ). I'm not disputing that the beer will taste better after 6 months, I'm just pointing out that in the real world most people don't think/plan that far ahead!!!!!!!!
Also, I'm not reading from a rule book :rofl: , I'm simply offering the benefit of MY OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCE!

P.S. I tend to push most of my yeasts to their limits therefore adding extra sugar will simply snuff out the yeast, leaving residual sweetness! As you rightly say this has nothing to do with mouthfeel etc.
