Hey All,
I going to brew some IPA this weekend and as I'm new to full mash I was told to treat the water down her in London. The details are below:

http://www.thameswater.co.uk/water-quality-reports/z0343-hackney-east.pdf

My question is, is there anything in the report that could cause any problems? I'm going to leave it for 24 hours to allow the chlorine to evaporate but is there anything else I can to help improve the water

Thanks all!

Try the Water treatment calculator at the top of the page ;)

or this one - http://www.jimsbeerkit.co.uk/water/water.html

It may be a bit daunting at first and you may need to do a few calculations if your water report doesn't provide the necessary details but is a useful exercise in the long term.
For lager/pale ales you generally need a softer water which isn't ideal for us down south.
