Again Johnsons stance is I consider the matter closed, probably a trick learnt off Trump keep saying it and they will believe it and is also a message to his friends in the press to put an end to the matter promptly. It's not a case of left or right I have seen decent politicians on both sides but we should expect them to have a decent moral compass but when the man at the top has no moral compass how can you expect the underlings to follow suit.

Y'know, even though all that's been said is absolutely true, and I don't disagree that he *ought* to go, nevertheless, Hancock always struck me as one of the few in the Cabinet who didn't seem to be a complete idiot, and let's be right, Minister of Health in a pandemic is a thankless job. He'll be pilloried for this, and maybe rightly so, but meanwhile Johnson is on his second blonde of his Premiership, and has made it clear that that's more important than his day job, but he survives fine.
