A I alone then in always using plastic bottles with screw caps. Reasons being they can be reused, are easier to wash as I throw them all in the bath with plenty of clean and sterilise powder and also when you open them you can unscrew them slowly and if you have a gusher let the gas out slowly before opening them enough.
 
I've used plastic bottles quite often in the past, haven't had issues with lack of carbonation. I have occasionally had oxidation problems with them though.
 
The way I see it is that soft drinks taste worse in plastic bottles than in glass. Eg orangina, coke, oasis.....and so it stands to reason that beer would too....and for that reason, ahm oot.
 
I relieved the pressure on Wednesday and tonight they're pouring very nicely.

I think the problem is they pull all the trub and everything up..

The ones I had just had everything floating around in there :lol:

Was is Dad of Jon or someone who had a gusher and it went all over his father in laws sunday roast :lol:

It was and it always brings a smile to my face remembering the look of bewilderment on his:lol:
