Im going over to Warminster Maltings next Friday to sniff the air in the warehouse, and pick up a bag of fresh as fek MO.

Im thinking of doing a simple MO only brew but using a lager type hop. Keep the wort on the dry side and bottle it for the summer to serve chilled. Im not going to make a lager Im just after making something light and a bit continental.

Gimme a hint on a good lager type hop for such a simple experiment

Go with any "Normal" hop you like Frisp :thumb:
When I say normal I mean something like Goldings, Northdown Northern Brewer First Gold etc. After a 90 min boil most of the flavour and aroma will have been boiled away.
You could always use something like Saaz or Tettnang though and I know for a fact that Matchless have a nice fresh 5kg bale of tettnang 'cos I seen 'em :D

Want to go really way out there . . . Go with Nelson Sauvin, awesome in summer type ales
