Hi All
I've joined the site today and would just like to give everyone a great big hello. I'm currently based in Melbourne but we are intending to move back to the UK early spring next year. I'm a all grain brewer and I have a 3 tier system I've developed over the last couple of years. I'm currently scouring the Internet to get a taste of what the home brew community is like in the UK and how easy it is to get all my favourite ingredients. So if anyone has a link to a good website or two that would be awesome. Although I have a 3 tier system I'm intending to look into the brew in a bag method pioneered here as I'm hoping to get a couple of mates hooked upon my return and the BIAB method seems like a cheap and easy way in

Well enough of me waffling on and again a big hello and hopefully you will be hearing a lot more from me in the near future

Neil

Thanks guys. Wish I could bring the weather with me but it looks like I brought the English weather here as a ten year drought ended virtually the day we arrived. Moving back because of the family just had a little girl and Oz is just too far away. Hoping to move to Liverpool/Manchester, depends on where I find the work at the end of the day. Had a look at some of the links, like the look of The Malt Miller. I can see a fair bit of trade passing their way. :drunk:

The malt miller's grain is top notch and ive had plenty of yeast vials all tip top , I brew german/belgian beers and millers grain is the exact stuff used , i also get next day or following every time ive ordered :thumb:

That's good know. I currently use the Wyeast smack packs as that's what my local home brew shop stocks. The 3068 Weihenstephan Weizen is a personal favourite of mine. Look forward to using the White lab yeasts as I've not used them before. I notice there is a link for kegerator equipment too, which is good to know as invested in one last Christmas and was a little concerned on where I might get CO2 refills.
