Does any body have an idea about how much malt is needed for a 10bbl batch?

Any experience in this area?

I was thinking about buying a system wit three of my friends but I have not idea about the malt amount needed for this system.

It is a 10bbl brewhouse, mash tun/lauter and kettle.

250kg of malt will get you around 10BBL of 1045 OG.

a 10bbl system of 1630 litres, or indeed any system I use the ballpark of 0.8kgs of malt per 5litres. This all depends on efficiency and style, etc... And sometimes I use less, but for decent mash efficiency and 4.5-5%ABV I'd say somewhere between 250 to 275kgs of malt is about right. I'd happily be corrected though ;-)
