Put a squirt of squeeze in a spray bottle and fill with water then give the plant a good dosing.
There's not enough to do the plant any harm but the bugs detest it.
My mother has been at it for as long as I can remember on rose's.

Ha..! Good luck with that!
I said to SWMBO, "I don't smoke, I don't drink ( apart from beer ) I don't chase other women ( getting too old & slow for that )and I don't waste money on pointless hobbies".
...and I've still got the bruises to prove it..!
Best not try that approach
