I've never used PG hops but I just did a quick google and opinions seem to be very divided on it. It seems to be quite a marmite hops. Some people absolutely hate it whilst other loved it

Maybe that’s why it was on sale!!

Any hop will work to bitter your beer, however you need to take things like harsh or smooth bittering into account as different hops can cause this effect. Hops with lower co-humolene are supposed to give a smoother bittering.

Ive got a 100g of Pacific Gem I don’t know what to do with ? Bitter or later? Ive never heard anyone use it.
2012 crop but been in the freezer ?

I was given a pack of these a while back.Reading about them,many say they were not happy with the results for bittering. I recently did a blonde ale with bramling x for bittering and pacific gem for aroma and dry hop only and the results were really good:thumb:
