Given that the prize is to brew the recipe commercially with Brewhouse & Kitchen, I'm sure they're delighted to have ended up with a 16.1% beer that needs 5 years to come round....
Yeah, I thought the same.

Dried yeast is every bit as good as liquid, you just have less choice. Thanks for the recipe. I'll give it a whirl later in the year. Good to see that you can win gold with dried yeast!
And a 30 minute boil
Hopefully attached, if it's worked!Well done, can you post the recipe
Good question! Combination of what we had to use for the Elusive competition plus some interesting promo freebies we picked up at home brew comps. I have to say it does work though. The thing I might change if we did it again is to take out the Dark Crystal Rye malt. It is a tad dark in my view. But tastes great! How on earth did you come up with that Hop Schedule?
Fantastic well done! Any finings needed to get it so nice and clear or is that just time and patience? Here you go @Agentgonzo @samale the recipe for the premium bitter. If you can’t see the picture below very well the link below it will take you to a better image.

Thank you! No additional fining (just the 1/2 protofloc at the end of the boil) and not much time either. This brew comes out of the fermenter pretty much clear.Fantastic well done! Any finings needed to get it so nice and clear or is that just time and patience?
Well done mateNot got any feedback as yet but I’ve just been told I was awarded gold in the Premium Bitters category. #Chuffed!
