I have a refractometer calibrated in % sugar.
By making 25g of white sugar up to 250ml with distilled water I get an SG reading of 1.036 on my hydrometer.
So 10% sugar = SG 1.036 and a simple calculation tells me what other %’s are in terms of SG.
What is the correction formula for alcohol present when using the refractometer?
Also what are the relationships between Oeschle, Brix, Balin, Baumes and Specific gravity scales (I don’t vouch for the spellings, sorry Moley)? :?

Edit
Corrected spellings
Ochsle
Baume(e acute)
Balling
