I'm planning on ditching the GF top plate and creating some sort of sprinkler system with a longer length of silicone hose. I just can't find the internal diameter of the recirculation pipe. Anyone know what it is or done a similar project?

Are you meaning the silicone hose or the metal pipe?
Surely you could just measure it if you already have a grainfather?

I have 3/8 pipe on the arms, slightly looser fit than the linked one.
Check out the Malt Miller video about pipes and fittings, and good luck for the measuring. 🤣🤣

Internal diameter of the silicone tubing: 10mm
External diameter of the metal pipe: 13mm

(obviously the hose needs to stretch to go over the metal pipe)

That's brilliant. Thanks for your help. I'm sick of the top plate moving about during the mash and I think I can come up with something that would distribute more evenly. I'll post a pic or two if it works. Thanks for all your help.
