It says it's brand new, never been used

The decision depends on the price then... Is it a bargain... Even after you have bought a transformer etc?

If you haven't bought it then it's prob worth considering the heating time on the 120v, it'll be a lot slower than a 240v system

Bin the idea. Get a 220v.
Sorted. Whatever the price. Not worith the faff or brew day taking realistically another 1hr.

3kva Transformer was my first thought too but on reflection I'm assuming this has an ameriacn plug so that won't be plug and play the way 110v power tools are so that won't work

Thank you for all the replies. I was looking at this as it was for sale locally to me, I don't already own it. Sounds like it'd best to leave it alone as its not an easy solution to be able to use it. Thanks again

How old do you think millennials are? I'm 37, so very much a millennial and I'm just fine changing plugs. I think most of my ages would be too.

Kids today dont know we had to take the plug apart to change the fuse and back then the flex was not moulded to the plug.

Not sure that millennials can be considered kids. I had to take a plug apart just over a month ago. It's not exactly rocket science.

I didn't mean millennials i meant teenagers today.
