Evening all,
Have just got back into winemaking after several years. Started walking along the canal with the wife lately and picked the blackberries that were about, initially for jam but after seeing elderberries as well got me thinking about wine.
Currently have 1 gallon from my first forage which is an elderberry and blackberry mix and a
2nd gallon of just elderberries. The berries on the second batch were a lot riper than the first so will be interesting to compare the results. Also have a gallon of Wilkinson Cab' Sauv' as I need some quick results to keep the enthusiasm going.
